Shana Tova!

As we approach the High Holidays, we are reminded to heed the advice of the Talmud’s threefold formula in order to change harsh judgments decreed on Rosh Hashanah: T’shuvah – repentance, Tefilah – prayer, and Tzedakah – giving of charity. Although we are touched by many of you who have recently offered to provide financial support to Voleh, I must tell you that no money changes hands in our organization. Voleh’s mission is accomplished purely via the helping hands of the professionals and lay people who generously donate their time and knowledge to help olim, as well as people planning Aliyah.  So at this time of year, I’d like to thank our volunteers and encourage the recipients of Voleh’s services who feel the need to give back something, to consider volunteering your time to help others and/or giving tzedakah to a worthy charity in Israel.

I have just very good things to say about Tzvi and his work!
