Due to the enormous volume of new immigrants seeking legal aid, we have decided to change our legal services and fee policy after almost 7 years.

Effective December 18, 2014

  1. We do not accept donations (and never have).
  1. No phone call or email will be answered if the person asking for legal aid refuses to complete the required form found on the site at http://voleh.org/contact-us/.
  1. The majority of legal services we provide are free of charge with the exception of those listed below.
  1. We will charge a symbolic fee of $100 (including VAT) for the following services:
    • Drafting a small claims court case including: writing the claim, typing the claim according to the court’s rules, photocopying the claim as many times as required by the law.The fee doesn’t include: representation in court (not permitted by law), court’s fees and serving the claim, if necessary.
    • Examination of a second lease (rental contract including all necessary changes). The first one will be completely free of charge. We will not translate any document or part of it (not even for a fee). All changes in the rental contracts will be as usual in Hebrew as stipulated by the Israeli legislation.
    • Any meeting outside our offices in Ramat Gan.

The fee must be paid as a deposit or a bank transfer and confirmation of payment must be sent to us by fax or email before services will be provided.

With our manpower limitations, this is the best way for us to ensure that we can continue providing good service and a fair distribution of our scarce resources.
